Claim To Fame : Miss World in 2000 Priyanka Chopra didn’t had much aspiration for modeling or ever dreamed of competing in beauty contests, but her parents, without Priyanka’s knowledge, sent photos of her to the Femina Miss India pageant. On competing, Priyanka won the Femina Miss India-World title and an opportunity to represent her country for the Miss World competition. Priyanka Chopra acted in several block buster movies like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" {2004} opposite Salman Khan, "Bluffmaster" {2005} opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Nana Patekar, "Don" {2006} opposite Shahrukh Khan and "Krish" {2006} opposite Hrithik Roshan, which indeed became the biggest hit of all time so far in Indian Cinema. She is also starring in the sequels "Krish 2" and "Don 2". “I want the audience to be surprised by my character all the time. I want them to keep guessing about my roles, so I am doing more of such films and when a new director comes with such subjects I jump for that.” The former Miss World was also voted as the Sexiest Asian Woman of 2006 in a poll conducted by Eastern Eye, an Asian newspaper being published from Britain.
